Ser Garret is undoubtedly good enough to give Titus a tough match.

A tough match was to be expected and either way it would go, a Knight of The Reach would be eliminated.

Lances snapped and the crowd cheered at three well ridden early passes. Ser Titus clearly had the edge, but there was still time for his opponent to prevail through good tactics or good fortune. PR: 19 AR: 10 Health: 12/12 v Titus P1-3 N;SiS;CyB: 3#6d6k4+4 19 24 25 3#6d6k4+1 22 20 16 3#4d6 14 18 17- Titus leads 5 DoS to 3, not yet a wide enough gap for Ser Garret to consider yielding to earn some chivalry so we will ride another three passes. He may mix up his tactics a bit now he's behind.

The crowd cheer vigorously on as the two Reachmen clashed again to the sound of broken lances. Surely such talented knighthood and horsemanship was a rare sight at the lists of The Riverlands!

Sensing he was falling behind in the judge's estimation, Ser Garret stood high in his stirrups but still could not dislodge his doughty foe. v Titus P4-6 N,HiS;SiS;CyB: 3#6d6k4+6 23 22 17 3#6d6k4-2 17 21 21 3#4d6 11 14 17PR: 19 AR: 10 Health: 12/12 - Titus leads 11 DoS to 5, pausing here to check if our Ser Garret yields to earn himself +1 Chivalry for submitting to his better.

Nah, he can still get lucky.

[OOC: Heightened stakes for the last three passes then as he’s the competitive sort and miles behind.]

Six lances broken. Titus wheels Smith around and without taking pause thunders down the list to break the seventh.

This was a match for the ages, and so early in proceedings! A gasp went up from the crowd as both knights were hurled from their mounts, the horses left whinnying as their masters scrabbled for their swords. The smallfolk loved swordsmanship, and many nobles looked on with increased interest, keen to see how one of the reputed favourites would far with a blade. v Titus P7-8 N,HS,Agg1,EF;SiS;CyB (switches to all out on P9): 2#6d6k4+6 25 28 2#6d6k4+1 21 14 2#4d6 10 12PR: 19 AR: 10 Health: 8/12 - Pass 8 - both fail TN 14+3 (HS) = 17 SiS checks - Garret inflicts AH+1(lance)+2charge+1EF+3mount= 11 Damage x2 = 22 halved for Noble = 11 - absorbed by armour, then 5 damage to Titus from the fall, all but one of which is healed by Titus's catch your breath roll.

Ser Garret’s lance hit him like a scorpion bolt and punched all air out of his lungs. With a loud crash they both fell to the ground and Titus rushes to his feet and draws his sword. He was swift on his feet but the Tyrell might yet prove swifter.

Garret was quick, but Titus was even quicker. The younger knight was lithe in his armour, wearing almost as if it were a second skin rather than plate, padding and mail. v Titus Initiative: 3d6-3 8CD: 10 Health: 8/12 I/W/F: 0/0/0 [OOC: narrator, please let me know here or in personal forum on whether is secondary/primary and any instructions on yielding/tactics, otherwise I'll pilot to best of my own judgement as normal.]

Driven forward by the impetuousness of youth, Titus dashes forward and catches Ser Garret inside his guard. A fine blow but if the man would remain standing Titus would be exposed to his retaliation.

21-10=11 by my count.
Garret will try to put up a bit of a fight, but not a race to the bottom with injuries/fatigue on account of not wanting to tire out his opponent before the next round on sheer stubbornness.
