[OOC: As with other past events, mechanical effects up to narrator discretion. For the ost part I am skipping tourney events, but as this ne may impact Phase 3 I am rolling it up.]
It was not lost on Davos that he was initially given a scenario in which a Dornish force was smashed by northerners. The message was clear - "You Dornish scum cannot win a fair fight against us
real knights."
It was not enough to recreate history, however. The hue of his skin meant that to achieve recognition by these judges, he would have to convince the judges that his tactics would outperform the historic victor... and so he did, to the best of his ability.
Finally he was given a more interesting challenge - perhaps the judges felt their message had been delivered, or perhaps they tired of having a Rhoynish-blooded commander present better tactics than great Andals of the past. Instead he was given what was likely supposed to be an unwinnable battle: Ser Jorah Holt's ill-fated assault upon the Boneway. A foolish choice if they sought to embarass him, indeed he had studied that battle extensively and had a number of ideas on how actually win the fight, consisting mainly of sacrificing a small number of weak units to bait the Wyl's forces into overextending and giving up much of their terrain advantage. It still probably woul dnot have been a winning fight, but more of a draw than a loss for the Kingsguard... whom many probably forget was of Dornish descent himself.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, despite his performance he was passed over in favor of partisans. Davos was not overly concerned by that; while it would have been good to earn some glory for himself and by extension House Starkwood, he had proven himself to any who cared to observe.
Challenge: (misunderstood the mechanics, no doubt due to being well past my bedtime. All rolls included for completeness, but only the first of each type will be used for rsults calculation.
Scenarios: The Charge of the Stormbreaker, The Battle at Stonehelm, The Battle of the Boneway Pass

Because judges are biased:
-Characters not publicly aligned with Fire/Blood: +1b on warfare tests.
I don't think any of the judges are particualarly biased against Davos, but strong prejudice might produce a negative not taken into account in the above rolls.
Simulation:As fun as this might be if I had more time, I'm skipping it (at least for now) in favor of purely descriptive results in the RP above.
Rewards:Success on all five tests.
2+3+2+3+4 = 14 Total DoS, 15 if he receives a Chivalry increase from his eulogy for Ashara (Bumps his charm result from 2 DoS to 3).
-Success on all five tests: +1 Glory, +1 Chivalry, +1 Influence. Be allowed to serve as an aide in the grand battle enactment at the Feast of Champions.
-10+ DoS: The high esteem for your military mind may increase the likelihood of securing plum commands during phase 3 Riverland events.
-Two Highest total DoS (Reaching 10 suffices to beat the NPC's, re-rolls ): Be selected as the commanders in the grand battle enactment at the Feast of Champions, though that scene may not necessarily be featured.
