The Wedding between Lord Gwayne and Lady Alysanne is a relatively modest affair in the traditional style, in the morning, men offers gifts to the groom and ladies to the bride, in the afternoon they walk in procession to the Ashford sept to have them wed by the laws of Gods, then the procession returns to the castle for a feast and then to have them wed by the laws of men, then night is passed away dancing and drinking.
Morning Gifts
Prior to the ceremony in the sept, those attending who presents a gift (men would offer to the groom, women to the bride) worth a number of GD equal to the status rank of the giver and offering kind words: Simple Intrigue (charm) TN 12, gaining +1 Disposition with Lord Meadows on a success. (Cannot bring it beyond +5)
Dirty Dancing
One can go flirting on the dancefloor, maybe not the best idea if married.
Simple Intrigue (Charm or Seduce) against the target of your choice.
A successful Charm gives +1 Disposition with the target, +2 with 3 DoS.
A successful Seduce gives +1 Disposition with the target, +1 per 2 DoS scored, and additionally +1 disposition per DoS that only lasts for the duration of the event.
-Critical Failure: -2 Disposition with your target, and typically also with other family members if the seduce option was selected.
-This cannot permanently raise disposition beyond +5.
-If using seduction and temporary disposition is raised high enough (+5 typically), an opportunity to steal away may present itself.
Stealing away:
-Deception(Act) or Stealth(Any) TN 13 to slip away unnoticed (also applies if you are targeted and go along with it). Both characters must test.
--Simple Failure: -0 Chivalry/-1 Virtue
--Critical Failure: -1 Chivalry/-3 Virtue, and the other character cannot achieve a better result than simple failure.
-Ordinarily, NPC's does not engage in this unless prompted, but a simple intrigue (taunt) may possibly nudge them into doing stupid things.
Wedding&Bedding:
You may remain at your seat, join in to a relatively modest degree, or be among the first in line for helping with the disrobing, the enthusiasm of the latter might be noted (but no mechanical effects). You may also take...liberties, which carries the cost -1 chivalry/virtue, -5 Disposition with bride and groom (-3 if female), -2 with other Ashford and Meadows' NPCs'.
One may engage in the ribald quips and suggestions if one joins in (and those first in line are very much assumed to do this):
Simple Intrigue (Seduce or Taunt) TN 9, Highest result among male participants gains +1 disposition from 3 random male NPC's, while highest result among female participants gains +2 disposition from Daena Flowers.
Critical failure: -1 Disposition with 3 random NPC's.
Drinking Contest:
-Once the bedding is done, you may take as many servings of ale as you like.
-If you take a number of servings equal to twice your endurance rank, make an Endurance(Resilience) test at TN 9, repeat this test adding a cumulative +3 each time you take an additional number of servings equal to your endurance rank, on a critical failure you pass out.
-The total number of servings taken are used to determine the alcohol attack as per poison rules for ale, however, for each four servings beyond twice your endurance rank, reduce the virulence by three and increase the toxicity by one.
-Gain +1 Disposition from drinking buddies whose combined status equals the total number of servings taken (Cannot go higher than +3)
-A lady that passes out suffers -1 virtue
-A lady that drinks enough to have to test Endurance and does not pass out gains dispositions as if she had three times as many servings.
-Ordinarily, NPC's does not roll for this, but you may attempt a simple intrigue (taunt) depending on DoS, this may trick them into pushing their own limits.
Benefit/Drawbacks considerations:
Graceful: +1D Applies on Dirty Dancing test.
Decadent: Triggers, on a failure one is compelled to partake too greedily in the offered fare, suffering -1D on all tests.
Lascivious: Triggers, on a simple failure one feels compelled to be first in line for disrobing, on a critical failure one feels compelled to take liberties.
