Ser Parmen wasn't here for glory he was here to make a point. A knight could not insult a dead girl or her grieving family and still cloak himself in knightly honor. Not without being called out to defend his words.
His challenge was accepted by a young knight looking to make a name for himself by defeating one of the two Redwyne brothers who had survived the entirety of the Black Melee. Parmen offered him the chance to apologize and then when his offer was laughed down he beat the fool so badly that even Lady Allyria almost cracked a smile. Almost.
Parmen, sent a maester to look in on the boy. It was a generous act although Parmen also asked the maester to go very light on the milk of the poppy. Painful lessons learned were the ones that people tended to remember the longest.

Lord Thaddeus speaks movingly at the service, and offers such assistance as he can offer to the Starkwoods. Ysilla cares not for waiting around, maybe she should have, darting off at such pace as she does is like to make her miss things. Waiting only for long enough to voice the very obvious conclusion Ronnel already made, the likely motive being for Ser Quentin to be able to marry another, might be Lady Maegelle, might be someone seeking to have their daughter take Ashara's place before the septon.
Lord Rowan can offer Cunning 4 Logic 2 and Knowledge 4 for rolling or assists. Cunning;Track: 4d6 18 6d6k4 13

Davos and Roger concurs, it appears to be a planned hit, as the Starkwood guards were taken unawares and these are certainly not ordinary thugs, their movement patterns suggests that these men have fought and killed before and worked together as a unit, they had the element of surprise and yet Ysilla took them all on and won, The Sword of the Morning speaks of her with an admiration only matched by the shock and horror most Reachmen would feel upon learning that a woman is better than them, and the Dayne brothers appears to conclude that she probably would make short work of most Reachman knights. Their trail leads into the area where the hedge knights have set up their tents wherever there is room, but it is too trampled to find out where within that camp they might have resided. Bloodraven silently stalks the periphery, nods at Ser Roger's quick summary and begins conferring with assistants without any livery marking their allegiance, hard to say whether he receives reports or issues orders, maybe both.

Lynesse said she was giving intentional insult. Shouldn't she suffer -5 disposition?

[OOC: Davos absolutely woul dhave participated in this, even if it is too late to get mechanical rewards. As with other long-ended events, my rolls can be accepted or dismissed as narrator sees fit] "I cannot claim to have known my niece particularly well, much to my chagrin. From what I have heard, however, she was a bright, brave, and strong young woman that was a credit to her House, and to all those who could claim her as a relative. Murder is a sin and a heinous crime, but the murder of a woman, particularly a young woman with so much life ahead of her, and with so much to offer the world... that is an affront that all should condemn regardless of where they were born or what politics they ascribe to. Justice will be done for this, and I..." He looks over at his grieving sister, Lady Allyria. "Would that aught I could do would bring her back..."He shakes his head, words failing him but his sincere emotion carries through, communicating more than mere words ever could. First Alia and our child, now Ashara. I have lost too much family of late. Offer an Eulogy: Tragedy Vigil Endurance (Stamina) TN 12: 4d6 20 gain +2 on the Eulogy tests Character affiliated with Starkwood succeeds automatically on Status. Make the following tests when making a speech, adding chivalry/virtue: Tragedy Eulogy Language(Breeding) TN 12: 4d6k3+4 22 (wow, a perfect roll!) 3 DoS 3D Language 1b Breeding +2 Chivalry +2 Vigil bonus Tragedy Eulogy Cunning(Memory) TN 12: 3d6+4 16 1 DoS 3D Cunning +2 Chivalry +2 Vigil bonus Tragedy Eulogy Persuasion(Convince) TN 12: 4d6+4 18 2 DoS 4D Persuasion +2 Chivalry +2 Vigil bonus Success on all three tests: +1 chivalry -Disposition towards you from Starkwood NPC's: +2 Skipping the investigation aspect as Davos was previously NPCd for that. Would like to have the honor duel against Lord Olyvar if possible, though, even if mechanically it gets largely handwaived away. It's just too appropriate, what with Ser Davos having squired for the rude twerp's father.

Ah well. Would have been fun RP, but I'm sure another opportunity will come up in the future.
